During the annual Yellowstone River Boat Float Saturday, a passenger plane with two occupants crashed into the river after tangling in some power lines east of the Otter Creek Fishing Access in Sweet Grass County.
It was a busy Thursday morning for the Big Timber Post Office crew members: a mail delivery truck crashed down an embankment on Big Timber Loop Road sparking employees to grab bags and boxes and haul the mail out of the decommissioned truck.
The Sweet Grass County Sheriff’s Office ordered a new patrol truck to replace deputy Kirk Johnston’s 2014 Dodge, which was totaled Dec. 31 when Johnston was hit while on duty.
