A slow moving storm dumped nearly two inches in Big Timber over the course of only an hour Tuesday afternoon. The storm also produced small accumulating hail in some areas.

According to Meteorologist Joe Lester at the National Weather Service in Billings, two spotters in Big Timber reported 1.92 inches and 1.79 inches of rain. Another spotter six miles south of town reported 1.53 inches.
