TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE
Phone scams are becoming more frequent and the callers behind them, more aggressive. The Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration received reports of 896,000 contacts from IRS phone scams alone with a total of 5,000 victims since October 2013 and a collective loss of $26.5 million.
Sweet Grass County residents are no exception.
