SGHS boys basketball bus slides off I-90

The bus carrying the Sweet Grass County High School boys basketball team slid off Interstate 90 on its way home from the district tournament in Belgrade on Saturday night. There were no injuries, and no damage was done to the bus, SGHS Principal Matt Kleinsasser said. With poor visibilty, the bus was on the Livingston side of Bozeman pass when a car in front of it lost control. Bus driver Ron Rider veered left to avoid the car, and the bus ended up in the median. Free of injuries, the boys loaded onto the girls team bus, which was trailing close behind. According to Kleinsasser, Rider and the bus returned to Big Timber around 1:30 a.m. after being pulled free from the median.
