Jon Turner: BORN TO RUN
Some people are born to run.
They crave the freedom, the exertion, the means to push themselves to the breaking point.
Jon Turner is one of those people.
To most in this community, he is known for other things.
He is the quiet, but friendly face behind the counter at Cole Drug. He’s also a fixture at Livingston’s Town and Country, where he keeps busy bagging groceries and stocking shelves three days a week.
But last weekend, Turner was an athlete.
The 21-year-old took home three medals at the state special Olympics in Missoula May 19-22.
