On September 17, 1950, he married the love of his life, Selma Juanita Mosness. They’ve been married over 69 years and had three wonderful children – Brit, Rick and Vic.

He loved doing things with the boys. They went fishing, hunting and worked together. They traveled around stacking hay for five years.

Forrest and Selma lived in a house he built in Springdale for eight years. At Christmas of 1963, the family moved to the old Mosness homestead where they lived until Forrest and Selma moved into Big Timber in 2016.

He loved it when his sons got married and he finally got his girls, Brit and Jeanine, Rick and Dianne and Victor and Mardi.
