27th annual Great Montana Sheep Drive
Hundreds of onlookers cheered when Anna Phipps and Jessica Cumin finish the Great Montana Sheep Drive log sawing contest with a time of 45.65 seconds — good enough to secure first place and faster than all but two of the men’s teams. Log sawing competitors used a cross-cut saw to cut through a log roughly one foot in diameter. The competition was held directly following the running of the sheep.
