New bar, old memories

Men in T-shirts and baseball caps sipped cocktails and beer while a group of women chatted at the end of the bar. 
 
The City Club brought in dozens of people on its first weekend open in four years.
 
Mandi Capdeville, the bar’s manager, paced back and forth pouring drinks and joking with patrons. A mosaic of brands from local ranches covered the back wall, and a Canadian flag left by a visiting fire crew in 2006 hung next to the cash register.
